Sure, seeing the world through rose-tinted glasses is nice and cheery, but how about trying lilac lenses on for size? Tapping into the mood for all things 90s, this slick dude makes a compelling case for going purple. With filming of the Top Gun sequel currently underway (and due in cinemas in July 2019, for all you Maverick fans), the appetite for 80s-style aviators is only going to get stronger. We’re totally on board with this guy’s lightly-tinted take, sprinkled with a healthy nod to Sam Sylvia’s signature aviator frames from Netflix’s glitzy ode to the decade, GLOW. Fortunately, this showgoer forgoes Sylvia’s sloppy polo shirts in favour of a fresh floral-print shirt and breezy linen jacket. Nicely done.
