Now that going to the beach is off the agenda, it's time to focus on other weekend pursuits and we say heading to the footy is a great shout. The key to sideline steez is the all-important layering technique – not too much, not too little – ensuring you remain comfortable throughout the two/three hours outside. So, whatever code you're watching, check out how to bring your A-game style to the ground.

If you're not big into wearing the team jersey then this look is for you (feel free to switch out the blue pieces for your team colours). Start off your ensemble with a retro sports tee that works well to maintain the team aesthetic, without looking like you're warming the bench. Then, layer up with a fresh white hoodie to keep the getup minimal.
Switch up the sporty vibes with sturdy weatherproof workman pants – make sure to go for a pair that compliments the hue of your sneakers to tie your 'fit together, though. To finish your look? Opt for some white Reeboks, a 90s Calvin Klein hat and a hooded rain jacket.
