PACKING FOR A WINTER ESCAPE
By Lakeisha Goedluck, 12 May 2018
You've saved your cash and sacrificed many a night out for this trip and it's all coming into view - smug Instagram posts of Europe here you come. Rather than the usual shorts and t-shirts combo you need to plan your daily 'fits for every Euro style-scenario. So, if you're lucky enough to be jetting away soon, here's what to pack to look on point.

Now, everyone knows that packing for a stint away is no easy feat, but as long as you start with the basics you’ll be good to go. First, load up on T-shirts – go for a mixture of plain and striped tees to add some flavour to your ’fits.
Next, it’s all about deciding what to wear on your bottom half. If you’re venturing somewhere hot, pack a couple of pairs of shorts – make sure that you have at least one denim option as it’s the fabric of choice for 2018.
If the temperature's likely to dip in the evenings, you’re going to want some sturdy layers on hand. Add a staple navy shacket to your bag, so you can wear it over any ensemble, and pack a patterned shirt for warmth and nights out.
When it comes to your extras, try and have all bases covered. Footwear-wise, throw in a pair of sturdy sneakers so you can go wandering in style, but have some sandals on hand if you’ve got trips to the beach lined up. A five-panel cap and shades will have you looking popping while keeping you protected, and headphones and a portable game console will have you sorted for the time spent lounging about at the airport/train station. Happy travels!
