YOUR SUMMER ROAD TRIP OUTFIT

If your January priorities include hitting the open road to seek out optimal swell, checking out a music festival or just travelling up the coast with your mates, chances are you need to be road trip-ready. So, we've laid out some key pieces that will keep you looking fresh, even if you don't particularly feel it...

Whether it's the long Uni break stretching out in front of you or just a cheeky week off work, piling in a vehicle with your crew is a summer ritual. Taking the bare minimum is key to maximise space, but that doesn't mean packing poor quality gear – let's break it down.

Start with a bag that'll look the part and fit all your bits inside, the more colourful the better. Take a break from the chinos and opt for a louder pair of shorts that'll work for both day and night.
