3 NEW SPRING PASTELS
By Kasia Hastings, 30 August 2017
Blue skies, cherry blossom and the chance to freshen up your colour palette– spring is in full swing. So we’ve pulled together everything you need to introduce some softer seasonal tones into your sartorial setup.

Hotter spells and a cooler undercurrent don’t make mastering spring dressing easy, but trading in your go-to hues for their cleaner, pastel counterparts is a simple way of updating your wardrobe.
First up, try a pale green sweatshirt for a creamier take on classic khaki that’ll work whatever the weather. Keep it muted underneath with a light jade tee and smarten things up on the bottom with a pair of wide-leg, herringbone pants. Work in a crisp white denim jacket and a cross-body up top, and pop on a pair of lilac old skool Vans for the perfect pastel kicks.

Or if you’ve developed a penchant for steezy pink threads, go for a short-sleeved shirt in a peachy shade to switch it up for spring. Wear it layered over a white hoodie now and over a tee come summer, and team with mid-wash blue jeans or printed pants to make more of a statement. Finish up with a grey jacket and steely pair of Air Max 95s to add a cool, clean edge.

Alternatively, take your pastels in a greyer direction – a more sophisticated stand-in for sugary baby hues. Invest in seasonal staples like a roll-sleeved tee and Reebok Classics in icier blues to refresh your favourite leather jacket smart joggers and long sleeved tee.
