6 SLICK JACKETS
By Style Feed Staff, 12 July 2018
We're in the midst of some rather breezy weather right now, but hey, let's be realistic – even in the middle of winter there can be bright, sunny days when all we need a light jacket to tide us through, rather than a heavy, longline overcoat. Here are six lightweight options, each with their own unique selling points. Which one will you go for?
Denim jacket
They may have fallen out of our wardrobe rotations for a few seasons, but the 90s-style denim jacket is back on the menu. Added bonus, you can pair this staple one with pretty much anything in your wardrobe. Sensible sartorial choice, sorted.
Classic bomber jacket
The timeless MA-1 bomber jacket, on the other hand, needs no added extras to justify a place in your cold-weather rotation. Pick one in a nice navy hue so you can easily rock this army surplus staple all year round.
Windbreaker
This one’s a no-brainer. Its bold print will help you stand out in a crowd (especially useful when you’ve lost your mates at a festival). And it’s ultra-light, which means that you can shove it in your backpack and forget about it. And it has a hood – who doesn't love a hood?
Track jacket
The sports-inspired zip-up is another great one for stuffing into a bag during the chilly spells without worrying about creases. The only problem is the statement striped detailing on this Nike track top is so strong, you’re going to want to make it the key part of your ‘fit.
