Berlin is famous for its club scene and parties: they start late and don't end until the weekend is over and outie. During Berlin Fashion Week, which took place from 19-23 January, the parties were even better (plus, there was a 99.9% chance you'd meet one of the designers werking it on the dancefloor).
Our fave Fashion Week parties took place in Kreuzberg (a cool hipster district very close to Mitte, the city centre): German bloggers Dandy Diary threw a 70s-themed Winter of Love bash at Möckernstraße 120 (a derelict building used for pop-up parties), while fashion mag Indie celebrated at Chesters near Görlitzer Park (where German model and need-to-know-girl Bonnie Strange was DJing). Streetwear labels Obey and Huf, meanwhile, invited the fashion crowd to Ballhaus (a 50s swing club made over to host electro nights).
Got a clubbing trip to Berlin lined up but have no idea what to wear? Here's our German editor's pick.
