Last night, while we were sleeping, NYC's best were out playing. Why? because it was the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards at Spring Studios, duh. The annual event sees the Council of Fashion Designers of America (DVF is one of the judges) pick three burgeoning fashion talents to win sponsorship. This year it was hosted by Anna Wintour with keynote speaker, Stella McCartney and it had a pretty fab-ya-luss turn out (as you might expect). Runners-up prizes went to jeweller Eva Fehren and knitwear designer Ryan Roche, while the top prize went to shoemaker, Paul Andrew.

But back to the red carpet for a sec. From Lily Aldridge in a made-ya-look plunge dress, Karlie Kloss in a show-stopping, white spaghetti-strap dress and Atlanta De Cadenet in a futuristic LBD, all our favourite femmes were out in full sassy force. If we had to pick a favourite look, we're going to be a little biased and pick London luvvie Alexa, who waved the quirky Brit flag in a dungaree dress and Shrimps clutch. Go girl.
