It was Sonia Rykiel. Qui, you ask? A speedy Wiki for you: Sonia Rykiel was founded in the 60s by its namesake designer and is famous as a knitwear label. It's had something of a makeover in the past six months thanks to new artistic director, Julie de Libran, who was formerly at Louis Vuitton. So, not only were Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Georgia May Jagger, Miranda Kerr and Malaika Firth all on the catwalk for her debut collection last night, but Sofia Coppola (who has also worked for Louis Vuitton), was in the audience to see it, too. And the clothes? De Libran raided the 70s rails of the magical Rykiel archive. There were cropped flares – so happening – plus coloured faux fur, sailor jumpsuits and sheer maxi skirts. Eminently pinnable. And worth copying!
