Between Moschino serving up Barbie realness and Missoni revolutionising the way we wear scarves, we're snagging inspiration left and right at this season's Milan Fashion Week. The latest SS15 gem was Versace (which we. can't. stop. pinning). Here's what you need to know about Donatella's latest hit.
The collection was classic Versace: glam beyond belief with a massive dose of sass. Strategically placed grommets poked holes in skirts and dresses, and mesh was major. Even with all the badass vibes, Donatella kept it girlie and spring-appropes with pastel pinks and blues. And of course, there were the brand's iconic prints, centered around the famous Medusa logo, which brings us to our next point...
According to @Versace Twitter, the house's motif of the moment features 'images of metal rings with abstracted optics'.
Studded Perspex heels made an appearance, but the real winner on the accessory front is what we can only describe as 'inside-out' bags with external pockets, perfect for holding your iPhone 6, lip gloss and keys. Looks ace and might just save you from those epic late night sob-fests when you can't locate your mobile and it's actually just lying in the bottom of your oversized satchel. Your BF will be eternally grateful.
Everyone was hoping for a Lady Gaga sighting (she is a face of the brand, after all), but no dice. But the most elite members of the fash pack were in town: The Blonde Salad's Chiara Ferragni (pictured, looking beyond increds), Coco Rocha and Heidi Klum sat alongside Disney darling Bella Thorne. Fabulux.
