If you grew up in the 90s, the likelihood is that at some point or another you were obsessed with the wardrobe of cow-print-mini-wearing Alabama in True Romance. Fashion has been looking (wild) west for the new season, and there was certainly no shortage of eclectic cowgirl influences on the Marques’ Almeida SS18 catwalk. Earthy cow prints were a recurring pattern and clashed up with silky floral panelling in the dreamiest zip-up of all time. Stripes amped up the print chaos and low pointed cherry mules sealed the deal.

Forget leopard or zebra, cow print is where it’s at right now – and no one reps it better than ASOS Insider Elizabeth in this super-snug roll-neck. Keep all eyes on the boldness by limiting your colour palette: think moss-green corduroy trousers and monochrome skate sneaks. Divine.

And for your own dose of animal magic? These bold statement jeans, bringing a whole load of 90s street meets Wild West to your wardrobe. For a balanced casual look, tone down the rest of your getup with a minimal printed tee and fresh white sneaks. Add a black puffer jacket and you’re good to go.
