5 best hair treatments on ASOS

By Elizabeth Odey, 25 June 2017

Wash, blow dry, straighten, curl, dye, bleach, wash – repeat. We put our locks through a LOT of stress on the reg, which means it’s super important that we take the time to add the hydration and care back into our hair. Luckily, there’s a product to suit everyone’s lifestyle and self-care routine – and we've run the numbers on 5 of them.

The pre-shower treatment

I’m a major sucker for anything with coconut on the label – so I may be a little biased – but this treatment was one of my faves. After sceptically slicking my dry hair with oil, it washed out like a dream. Also, since the treatment is applied pre-shampoo rather than post-shampoo my hair felt light and shiny throughout the day.

Sister & Co. Raw Coconut Drink For Hair, £27.99

The in-shower treatment

If we were ranking treatments based purely on convenience, this takes the (deeply conditioned) crown. The hydrating mask works in place of your conditioner – which means no extra steps in your beauty routine. Lazy girls, rejoice! Keep this baby in the shower and treat your hair once a week, or whenever it craves a little extra care.

Kardashian Beauty Hydrating Masque, £10.99

The pre-heat treatment

If you’re a daily wash-blow-dry-straighten type of gal, then this product is about to save your split ends. Apply to damp hair after showering – it’s light enough not to weigh hair down b,ut rich enough to hold its own against your torture trove of styling tools.

ghd Advance Split Therapy, £19.99

The everyday treatment

The love affair with Moroccan oils lives on. What I really like about this one is that it’s a zero-hassle solution to keeping your ends hydrated. Simply run a small amount through the ends of damp hair, and keep on keeping on. Too easy. This little beauty can be used on your face, too! Huge beauty potential, hella small price.

The Ordinary Moroccan Argan Oil, £6

The heavy-duty treatment

This mask is a single-use treatment, and (disclaimer) requires a little more admin time. Shampoo your hair as per usual, and then apply the treatment cap for 20-30mins. The actual application of cap-to-head took a little fiddling and a lotta dripping (top tip: wear an old T-shirt). The treatment is suuuper rich and super nourishing, so if your hair is in need of extra attention, the one use is all you need.

Kocostar Long Hair Pack, £8
