5 DAYS IN HAIR

Say hi to great hair

By Anna Heaton, 2 July 2016

Known for her centre parting and slicked-back styles, you’d be forgiven for overlooking the fact that Bella Hadid is in fact a thousand-trick pony when it comes to hair. From fancy updos to long, lustrous curls, there’s plenty of inspiration to choose from. Scroll, bookmark and pin because these looks will have you breathing a sigh of relief on even the darkest of bad hair days.

Side sweep

Good news: this look can work just as well for the lob lovers as the girls with Rapunzel hair. The loosely tonged curls look effortlessly sexy and are guaranteed to make any Saturday night. Sweep it to the side, like Bella, for a relaxed vibe.

Slick Rick

Bella's go-to look is slicked hair, and thank goodness, because… It. Is. Heaven. Plus, it's a super quick win if you're on second (or third?!) day hair. Just secure in place with hairspray or gel if you're prone to flyaways.

Totally neat

Smart and sophisticated, this cropped effect is made even better when teamed with some smash-hit tailoring. Achieve it with a deep parting and comb down for extra sleekness, tie in a low bun at the back, and use lots of holding spray.

Glam girl

To wow at Cannes (as if that dress wasn't enough), Bella went for a dramatic, beehive updo. Complete with a 60s-esque side fringe and some sparkly drop earrings to really set it off. #bombshell

Bun hun

Proving that anything is possible, Bella nails everyone's fave Monday hair for the red carpet. To make your pineapple just that bit chicer, tie it in a pony, twist it round into a small bun and secure. Then spray to give it a glossy finish. Pale-pink lippie optional, but advised.
