Nottingham might not have the pop heritage of Manchester or Sheffield – until a few years ago, its major exports were gin-soaked indie heartbreakers Tindersticks and baggy-jean-clad dance heads Stereo MCs – but a new breed of tunesmiths are working to put the East Midlands metropolis on the music map. Following hot on the heels of Jake Bugg is an even younger singer-songwriter, who's making some noise beyond the M1 corridor: Saint Raymond. 

Despite being barely old to enough require a full-price ticket this time last year, the tuneful troubadour has played a slew of festival dates this summer, promoting new single I Want You. We spoke to Saint Raymond (or Callum Burrows, to his mum) and got the skinny on his packing list for field-based music events.
