Released tomorrow, Love Letters is the follow up album to Metronomy's excellent The English Riviera. Filled with sly groves, earworms and in The Most immaculate Haircut, the best song title in quite some time, it's guaranteed to stay on heavy rotation right through your summer. Check out everything you need, or indeed want, to know about the band then watch the awesome new video. Cheers!

1. Founding member, Joe Mount, hails from Totnes in Devon, and the band's first record was a loose concept album about the south west.

2. The band performed at the NME Awards with MKS, the band formed by the three original Sugababes.

3. The video for Love Letters is directed by Michel Gondry, who's worked with Daft Punk, The White Stripes, The Chemical Brothers to name a few, as well as directing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Be Kind Rewind.

4. The band's first album Pip Paine, Pay The £5000 You Owe is named after an ongoing feud between two men in the town were Mount grew up.

5. The band picked their dream Glastonbury line-up recently, which included Prince, on two nights. Which seems fair.
