It seems like only yesterday that Simon Pegg would rock up to a film premiere or award ceremony wearing cargo trousers, a couldn't give a sh*t attitude, and his bleach-blonde hair in crispy little spikes.

So when did he ditch all that to become the archetype of refined tailoring and taste that we see today? We're not sure, but it was probably some time between Shawn of the Dead and becoming one Hollywood's leading (and bankable) character actors, in films like Star Trek.

Here he is at last night's Jameson Empire Awards, looking sharp in a three-piece herringbone suit. Note the flourishes, such as the royal blue pocket square and contrasting copper tie, which help transform this classic look into something fresh, cool and contemporary.
