One of the most pleasant surprises of the year, style-wise at least, is that the bomber jacket continues to be big news. And, as Tinie Tempah demonstrated this week, it doesn't have to make you look like a bouncer.

The leather number he sported at Radio 1 HQ might not be to everyone's taste; however, the basic principle remains that the cut off collar and close fit make it an excellent alternative to a denim jacket. And, as long as you don't shave your head and tattoo a teardrop on your face, you won't scare old ladies in it, either.

All other jackets fall back, the bomber jacket is here to stay... and there's an embarrassment of bomber riches to choose from.
