STYLE. GROOMING. INSPIRATION. ADVICE.
The Gazelle Super has serious cult appeal. For years this has been a silhouette revered by adi heads for its scarcity. While the standard Gazelle has remained ever-present in adidas’ arsenal, the Super variation was only produced in a limited run in 1987 from their production centre in what was then Yugoslavia. All new levels of #veryrare going on here.
This Eastern European obscurity brings a little disruption to the the OG Gazelle’s clean, minimalist look with the addition of a midfoot window panel, which frames some high-contrast retro adidas lettering. While the physical changes are slight, the history behind this pair is huge, which made it a no-brainer as our pick for Sneaker Sunday.
