With skate superstars like Paul Rodriguez and Eric Koston on its books, Nike SB has produced signature kicks for some of the best in the game over the years. But no shoe has had quite the impact than that of Californian steez machine Stefan Janoski. Arriving in 2009, the original Janoski has seen tweaks and twists but never a sequel. Why? Because Nike nailed it first time around.
Eight years on and the Janoski is well over 100 colourways deep but the latest drop is a proper head-turner. As part of the Prism Pink pack (which includes some smart clothing bits, too), Nike has daubed the boat-shoe style sneaker in, well, pink, mostly, but navy accents and a smooth white vulc sole add contrast. These are about as summery as a strawberry ice cream, so shorts and a tee are the only way to go with these, but throw over the accompanying hoodie on chilly evenings.
