The image alone was enough to stir up rumours of a potential Yeezy x Supreme collab, but our eyes were drawn to Kanye’s outfit as a whole. Ye threw a typically oversized green plaid shacket over the black tee, leaving it unbuttoned to show off the famous box logo while also offering a chilled, understated feel. Apart from his woollen overshirt, the focus was on monochrome and minimalism – two things Kanye seems to nail time and time again.
His bottom half included staple black drop-crotch skinny jeans, but the focal point was Kanye’s feet, as the rapper sent sneakerheads across the globe into meltdown once more, donning what appeared to be custom Yeezy 750 Boosts. You don’t hear of a designer customising his own range very often, but Kanye seems to have had second thoughts about his kicks' distinctive strap and decided to show off the laces for once. It's a move that has been since coined ‘the Yeezy effect’ after fans took to social media to show they’ve replicated their idol’s ways.
