Wear a roll neck, rule at SS14. Simple as. Your high-neck jumper that used to only come out when you had a hickie (ew) is actually happening in a big way this season, and you can thank Louis Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquière for that. For his AW14 show he sent out his models, like mega cutie Malaika Firth here, wearing white funnel necks layered under mini dresses and fitted leather jackets.

Wear a fine-knit or ribbed version now (sleeveless styles are good for warmer climes) under one of this season's Mod-inspired mini dresses or with high-waisted, wide-leg trousers. Then reach for warmer, chunkier – but cropped – knits when temperatures rise. Boom! Now, where's the 'ole monogram...
