So, you know how Alexa Chung has been teasing that she's going to start a fashion line? (Check out this in Fashionista back in December and on Instagram in June.) Well, we know what it's going to be: a 20-piece collaboration with AG denim, which we sell. Launching in January (aeons away) Chung told WWD that the line is going to make up the 'missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late 60s, early 70s aesthetic'.
So what are we going to get? Well, 20 pieces, mainly jeans, with colours including 'palest pink, cream, rusty red [and] washed army green', plus a denim mini skirt and shrunken jacket that evoke 'Chanel and 90s Versace'. And she'll be modelling the threads, of course. Exciting stuff! And also important to note: Victoria Beckham started her fashion empire with a denim collaboration, too (with Rock & Republic, back in 2004). So, y'know: oooh!
