Taylor Swift was spotted at LAX this week, minus a good few inches of her swishy long hair. What T-Swizz now lacks in length she’s made up for with a charming retro-styling trick – a 70s flick with a kick. Made famous by Farrah Fawcett in Charlie’s Angels, and other hairoines including Agnetha from ABBA and Madonna in her Confessions On A Dance Floor phase.
It’s a flattering and easy 'do to pull off, whatever your hair length, as long as you have a few layers at the front. It’s also perfect if you're trying to work out what to do with a grown-out fringe. Here's how to get your own flick with a kick:
1. Brush your hair.
2. Use a curling tong and roll the tip of your fringe in the tong once, leaving the rest of your hair straight.
3. If you're going for full-on Farrah flicks, repeat on the other side.
4. Spritz generous quantities of extra-hold hairspray. Bingo!
