When it comes to designer comings-and-goings, rumours are spreading faster than Instagrams are uploaded at Fashion Week.

The latest? Will Balenciaga's ex-creative director Nicolas Ghesquèire fill the shoes - or should we say pumps - of Marc Jacobs, at the creative helm of Louis Vuitton?

According to Luxury Society, the designer - who left Balenciaga after an epic 15 year run in November last year - will replace Jacobs, who finished up at Vuitton this Paris Fashion Week with a dramatic all-black epilogue.

Vuitton is yet to confirm the news, though reports on Ghesquèire's new title from Vogue UK, Fashionista and The Cut are giving this one cred.

We want to know: will the heritage house receive the retro-futuristic, architectural Ghesquèire treatment? Will we see monogram printed Egyptofunk sweaters? Will open biker boots transform into heeled boots?
