Time to get your affairs in order, knights and nobles! Queen Cersei Lannister is coming to Oz. Our other favourite Lena – Headey, that is – who plays the morally bankrupt/ impossibly beautiful mother of King Joffrey on Game of Thrones will hit home shores in just two weeks.

Here for the Supanova Pop Culture Expo and a must-not-miss Ideas talk at the Sydney Opera House, the British actress will appear on stage alongside George RR Martin, the bearded mastermind behind GoT... who we still haven't totally forgiven for that whole "red wedding" thing. Sadly, Headey won't make it to Melbourne, but you can take up your gripes with/ bask in Mr Martin's glory at this Wheeler Centre event.

News of Headey’s trip comes hot off the heels of Peter “Tyrion” Dinklage (AKA best character on GoT - calling it) cancelling his slew of Australian appearances due to “prior film commitments”. Pity – but Cersei is hardly an understudy. Don your finest medieval 'dos and we’ll see you there, ladies.
