In 1997, Per Anderson founded a vintage clothing store in Gothenburg, Sweden, which soon drew a cult following of creative individuals, inspiring the launch of his label Velour eight years later. Strongly influenced by Gothenburg’s eclectic arts scene and nautical setting, alongside a clean-cut Swedish aesthetic, Velour brings forth a vibrant collection of marine striped t-shirts, linen chinos and Scandi-cool knitwear, reworking classic, preppy designs with modern detail and styling.
