ABOUT THE NIKE AIR MAX 1
Inspired by the ‘80s classic Nike Air trainer, the Air Max 1 is a modern day Nike icon. Air sole units made their way in to Nike footwear in the late 1970s, but it wasn’t until Nike designer Tinker Hatfield started carving out a window in the side of the midsole, that the Air Unit became visible, creating the now famous; Air Max Unit.
