Describe your style...

'Quite minimal and smart for the office, but I like
to pick up on key pieces that tick trends. I incorporate
a beauty trend into my look too, like a bright lip or bold
nail with a plainer outfit.'

What made you choose today's outfit?

'For work I'm most comfortable in jeans and a top so
this look is perfect. I lean towards blue as it complements blonde hair and blue eyes, and I loved the British feel
of this shirt. The nude sandal adds elegance so
the outfit doesn't look too casual.'

Which key pieces are you taking on holiday?

'Bright shorts, basic tees, floral dresses, espadrille
wedges and my new cats-eyes sunglasses. Plus, a
specrum of bold lipsticks to finish the look!'

How does your hair accessorise your style?

'With a smarter look, like a maxi skirt and buttoned shirt,
I'll wear a high topknot. When I go out I wear it down
and straight - or add a little volume so it's edgier.'

What's your routine?

'I wash twice, condition, brush, use heat protection
cream, blowdry, then heat protection spray and
brush, then straighten and use a product like John
Frieda Gleam Creme to stop flyaways. Yes, I do this
every other morning!'

'I like neutral colours as blonde hair and very
bright colours can look too much sometimes. I go for simple jeans outfits and little dresses with ankle boots. This dress is quite classic, I love mint – pastels suit
my tones - and it's a good summer work look to

'I style up my studded denim shorts in so many

a boho kimono.'

How do you wear your hair for work?

'Sleek - I style it straight or tied back in a pony to complement a jeans, blouse and blazer look.'

And for going out?

'Wavy - I plait it wet and let it dry after running

braid two small sections at the front.'

What do you like about being blonde?

'I can wear most colours. I love it, especially
in summer.'

'Always a hard question, I guess I'm a mixture - a little bit edgy but also trend-led.'

Which are your favourite S/S '12 trends?

'I really like the new colour trends – brights and head-to-toe pastels. As staples I've got lots of different coloured jeans and shorts. I love tribal and the all-over prints look, like this dress and jacket.'

How does your hair finish your look?

'I'm generally a "scrunch and go" kind of girl, but because my hair's long it affects my outfit, so I take my cue from there. With strong jackets it looks better worn up with sunglasses.'

What summer hair trend will you be trying out?

'I love plaited hippyish looks, and fishtail plaits too. I'm always trying to follow magazine how-to-dos. I want to go for the braid-across-the-forehead thing.'

Where do you find inspiration for your style and your blog?

'Fairly basic, but I'll add in a vintage piece

How long has your hair been this length?

'I've just had 10 inches cut off! My hair was getting too
long and heavy and boring. I love my new style.'

What's the best hair tip you've picked up on a shoot?

'A stylist used thickening spray then put it in a bun.
After 10 minutes she undid it and it was big and
bouncy.'

How do you lend your style to S/S '12?

'Although I'm a black clothes person I love pretty
pastels, but I like to toughen up the look with boots
or a leather jacket.'

How do you accessorise?

'With jewellery I've collected on travels. I've got
bracelets from everywhere I've been.'

Your summer party hair is...

'On a job recently they did a '20s finger wave into ringlet curls, it looked so pretty. I want to try that.
